About

Libby UnwinLive in a world of color and design and drawing and problem-solving? Sign me up! I love what I do. Totally and completely.

My favorite thing to work on is surface design, and I also offer web and print design, illustration, and information graphics. I have had very diverse experiences in my nearly 10 years of graphic design, ranging from package design to murals to litigation graphics. I was even asked to design a TV set once. So fun!

I am committed to meeting my clients’ needs in a timely manner with high-quality designs that make you stand back and say “yes!” Each design is as unique as the individual who commissions it, and I will work hard to ensure that you love, love, love the finished project, and maybe even have some fun along the way.

I am Libby Unwin, aka LU Graphics. I’m an independent artist, and I live with my husband, Matt, and dog, Molly near Denver, CO. A Phoenix native and an honorary New Yorker, I attended the University of Oklahoma and received a degree in Communication Arts in 2002. I am inspired/distracted by old architecture, Art Deco, fabrics, patterns, textures and shiny things. When I’m not working, I like to work out, drink wine with Matt, or doodle in front of the TV with Molly at my feet. I enjoy vapid chick lit and have a strange enjoyment of reality TV.

Rebecca McCracken helps me write good and tells me stuff about the Interwebs. See her resume and portfolio here. You can also contact her via email or on LinkedIn.

Making The World A Better Place, One Doodle At A Time

I love charities. A portion of everything I do goes back into the community, so when you work with me, you help make the world a better place for someone else. Ahhh, that feels nice, doesn’t it?

LU Graphics’ Kiva Lender Page I like to choose people who are pursuing something that relates to art, crafts, fabric, or paper — adding them to the family of artists via micro-lending.

Partners Relief & Development An organization near and dear to my heart since 2001, when I spent a summer with them in Thailand. Read about what they’re doing and I guarantee you’ll be touched.

Alzheimer’s Association The topic of Alzheimer’s has recently hit home in my personal life. I have been proud to sponsor their research.
